Compared with traditional diesel heavy-duty trucks, pure electric heavy-duty trucks can save about USD$0.15 per kilometer. Assuming that a heavy-duty truck runs 150,000 kilometers a year, a heavy-duty truck can save $20,000 USD a year.
Whether for logistics companies or individual truck drivers, the cost savings of pure electric heavy-duty trucks are very attractive.
